My Resume

Hi, I'm Alex. Born in Milan in '95, which puts me in that very exclusive micro-generation stuck between airfryer obsessions and TikTok confusion. I like to think I am fluent in both millennial burnout and early Gen-Z slang, although I don’t actually use either very well.

I studied computer science and developed a fascination with data, those mystical numbers that supposedly contain the secrets of the universe. I specialized in processing data and building machine learning models, back when people still called it machine learning instead of the sexier, easier-to-sell AI.

Somewhere along this almost linear path, I accidentally bought a digital camera and discovered photography. After two years in data consulting (where I learned the dirty job of keeping data clean and making sense of them), I had an epiphany: my technical brain and creative soul weren't mortal enemies, they were just really bad at communicating with each other. In 2021 that tension led me to co-found Vision, a small but bold venture that tries to prove creativity, marketing, and technology can work together. Surprisingly, it often does, or at least we are doing a good job of pretending it does.

Side note: I don’t drink coffee or beer. But I do ride an electric scooter. That should give you a fairly accurate picture of my cumbersome persona.
